The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to SEP Software, Corp. This Source possesses unique capabilities to perform NARA's needed requirement. The contract duration period is for approximately 90 days. The value of the contract is expected to be $52,015.

The proposed contract action for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, under authority of FAR 6.302, is for the restoration of GroupWise Backup Tapes with the developer and owner of the software used for the original data backup.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Respondents must provide their technical capability, pricing data and other information which shows a bona fide ability to meet this requirement no later than June 4, 2014 at 12:00 noon (EST) via email to Ms. Yolanda Bean at [email protected] . Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

No contract award will be made on the basis of information received in respond to this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
