Request for Qualifications (RFQ) - Restaurant-shell buildout of historic Pierce’s Corner The City of Suwanee and the Suwanee Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) and competitive sealed Request for Bids (RFB) from qualified firm(s) for RESTAURANT-SHELL BUILDOUT OF HISTORIC PIERCE’S CORNER. Sealed SOQs and Bids will be received by the City of Suwanee, 330 Town Center Avenue, Suwanee, Georgia 30024, until 10:00 am local time on Monday, February 20, 2023. Any SOQs and Bids received after 10:00 am will not be accepted. SOQ and Bid envelopes must be marked on the outside with Bid Number, Name of Bidder, date and time of opening and Contractor’s License Number. A 5% bid bond is required as part of the bid submittal (A cashier’s check equal to 5% of the total bid amount of the project will be accepted as well). Work required under the Contract is for the buildout of a restaurant-shell and generally includes structural work, framing and woodwork (doors and windows), site work (grading, drainage, sidewalk installation, curb and gutters, landscaping, and sewer connection), electrical work, masonry and concrete work (slabs and installation of an elevator shaft), HVAC installation, irrigation system installation, roofing work, and painting in Historic Pierce’s Corner at 597 Main Street, Suwanee, Ga 30024. SOQs and Bids in the case of Corporations not chartered in Georgia must be accompanied by proper certification stating that said Corporation is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. Award will be made to the firm(s) with the greatest qualifications and who have submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The Suwanee DDA reserves the right to reject any or all bids as deemed in its best interest.
