The work consists of rehabilitating the existing storm drain lift station at the City of Bakersfield Pistol Range, installing a storm drain lift station at the existing drainage basin at Kristina Court south of Talisman Drive, and the Pistol Range location, this work will include installing new submersible pumps, discharge pipes, and discharge structure. The project will also include installation of safety improvements, replacement of the motor control center, and providing for temporary bypass pumping during construction. For the Talisman Drive location, this work will include installation of a new storm drain lift station in accordance with City standards for lift stations to pump water to a separate drainage basin. It will include new electrical control equipment, new storm water pumps, a pre-cast concrete circular wet well, integration with City SCADA, and installation of forcemain. For the Bailey sewer lift station, this work will consist of the demolition of the existing lift station and building structure and construction of new wet well and valve vault. Work will also include bypass pumping, construction of a CMU block building, fencing, lighting, and perimeter fencing.
