THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT is to remodel and update the existing fire station to comply with current building and safety codes and ADA requirements. THE WORK CONSISTS, in general, of gutting the building and removing the roof (demolition) and constructing a new +/- 3500 square foot fire station within the exterior walls of the existing structure. THE PRELIMINARY ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST RANGE of this project is $1,400,000 to $1,700,000. THE ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION TIME FRAME for this project is anticipated to be May 2015 to October 2015.
