Measurement range extension (1000 Ohm/sq - 3000 Ohm/sq)
Requirements for the Non-contact Sheet Resistance Tester:
1. Be able to determine the sheet resistance (0 to 3000 ohm/sq resistance range) of electrically conductive thin films (0, i.e. not present, to 1 micron thick) deposited glass substrates (1 to 8 millimeters thick) without making physical contact with the sample.
2. Be able to accommodate samples (a conductive thin film on glass) as thin as 0.5 millimeters to as thick as 9.5 millimeters.
3. Be able to measure the transparency (0 to 100% transmittance) of the sample at a visible wavelength of light (a wavelength between 390nm and 700nm).
4. Be able to measure the thickness of the sample.
5. Have all the appropriate hardware (computer, sample stage, resistance probe, etc....) and software (operating system, data acquisition programs, etc..) to operate.
6. Can be powered by plugging into a standard 110V AC outlet found in the United States of America.
