The purpose of this admendment is to post Revision #5 of the Purchase Description 10E-124A-DC dated 6 October 2010.  This purchase description revision adds "and/or Rx:Rs" to PD paragraph 2.3 and changes the test resistance value (Rx) column for Exhibits PD-B and PD-C.  All other solicitation requirements remain the same. **********************************************************
The requirement is for the purchase of a Resistance Measurement System which shall have the capability of measuring a variety of resistive type devices in both two terminals and four terminal mode and capable of making 4 terminal measurements for the entire resistance range of 100 micro-ohm to 100 Meg-ohm. The proposed item must meet the requirements of AFMETCAL Purchase Description 10E-124A-DC, Revision 4, dated 24 February 2010. The 562 CBSG/OMP intends to award a commercial contract utilizing procedures under FAR Parts 12 and 15. The required quantity is for two each first production units and 45 each production units with data including technical manual, COTS manual, calibration certificate, software users manual, acceptance test plan, software test plan, software test report, and packaging plan in accordance with DD Form 1423s, and an extended 5-year warranty. There are options for an additional quantity range of 0-17 each in FY12 and 0-18 each in FY13. The first article units will be shipped to AFMETCAL in Heath Ohio and will undergo acceptance testing. Remaining units will be shipped to Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMELs) throughout the U.S. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued approximately 23 June 2010 with a due date of 20 days after the solicitation posting date.
