To address the shortage of housing for Californians, Governor Newsom ordered the Department of General Services (DGS) and the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) to identify and prioritize excess state-owned property and aggressively pursue sustainable, innovative, cost-effective housing projects. DGS and HCD seek a Real Estate Consultant to provide professional real estate economist consulting services as required to advise and support implementation of the EO including retained services to be used on an as needed basis. The cost of the services is estimated to not exceed $1,000,000.00.
