The City of Bristol is seeking bids to install a weather-tight EPDM membrane roofing system at Youth Services Building. Electronic bid documents may be obtained for a $30.00 download fee payable to QuestCDN via the QuestCDN website. Bids will be accepted until June 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm, via the online electronic bidding system through QuestCDN.com. Bids submitted after the opening date and time will not be considered for award. Bids must be accompanied by a 10% Bid Bond payable to the City of Bristol as issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of CT. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. A non-mandatory bidder’s conference will be held on June 2, 2020 at 9:00 am at the project site, located at 51 High Street, Bristol, CT. The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut.
