Pursuant to Resolution No. R-146-20 (the "Resolution"), the Board of County Commissioners of Miami-Dade County, Florida (the "Board") directed the Miami-Dade County Attorney (the "County Attorney") to identify possible law firms that could serve as outside counsel, under the direction of the County Attorney, for possible litigation related to recovering costs and other damages associated with per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances ("PFAS"). The proposed engagement is to be on a contingency fee basis and at no cost to Miami-Dade County (the "County").
