REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL: WINGWALL Harris County is requesting proposals for the removal and replacement of an 8′ x 50′ concrete wingwall located at the Harris County Compactor Site, 592 Harrisville Road. Proposal documents can be obtained by contacting Nancy McMichael, County Clerk , at 706-628-495 8 or via email at [email protected]. Mandatory Pre-Proposal meeting will be held Tuesday, August 15, at 1:00 PM in the office of the Harris County Commissioners, 104 North College Street, Hamilton, GA. Responses envelopes must be sealed and bear the notation “PROPOSAL: SW WINGWALL 2017”, be addressed to the attention of County Clerk, Harris County Board of Commissioners, 104 North College Street, PO Box 365, Hamilton, Georgia 31811-0365, and be received by 1:30 PM, Thursday, August 24, 2017, at which time only the names of the firms responding to the RFP will be publicly read aloud. It is the responsibility of the responders to assure their proposal arrives at the proper location by the time indicated. Telegrams, facsimiles, e-mails, telephone or late proposals will not be accepted or considered. Harris County reserves the right to waive any requirements and/or specifications included, to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities or informalities, and to accept any proposal that in its judgment best services the interest of the County and is deemed to be more suitable for its needs.
