REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL MIDDLETOWN BOARD OF EDUCATION Proposals shall be submitted Online on the Middletown Board of Education's e-Procurement Portal, which is currently found at https://mpsct.bonfirehub.com The proposals will be received until 12:00 PM EST on December 17, 2021 for the following: RFP# 2021-03 Air Conditioning Design Services Wilbert Snow Elementary School Farm Hill Elementary School The Middletown Board of Education is soliciting proposals from professional Mechanical Engineering and Commissioning firms for the design, bidding /award and construction administration of air conditioning & ventilation upgrades at the Wilbert Snow Elementary School, (Snow School) 299 Wadsworth Street, Middletown, and Farm Hill Elementary School, (Farm Hill School) 390 Ridge Road, Middletown, CT 06457. Firms interested in being considered for this project shall clearly demonstrate that they meet the following qualification criteria: Licensed to perform Mechanical Engineering services in Connecticut, Designed a minimum of five relevant public school HVAC projects, preferably of different designs, within the last seven years. Provide project name, description, cost, contractor(s) and owner contact information. Provide initial budget and sum of all change orders and Contract Oversight Capabilities. A Pre-proposal meeting will be held on December 10, 2021. The meeting will begin at 11 AM at Farm Hill School, 390 Ridge Rd, Middletown, CT 06457. At approximately 12:30 AM the meeting will move to Snow School, 299 Wadsworth St., Middletown, CT 06457. Attendance at the meeting is not mandatory; however, it is recommended.
