ITEM DESCRIPTION

The various NSN's listed above are used on various systems that is utilized on multiple Air Force platforms.  These NSN's are critical to aircraft mission's that are utilized on C-130H's, LC-130H's, MC130H's U-2's, B-52's and C-5s for operations and training.     

Impediment to Competition:

The original equipment manufacturer for this item is BAE CAGE (80249) (0D0D0) which maintains its configuration by part number and software version. The Government does not own any data, drawings, schematics, or any other releasable technical data in support of this requirement. As a result, BAE is the only known source with adequate knowledge of the above NSN's performance requirements and possession of the required technical data and capabilities needed to produce this item and ensure compatibility of the equipment.   

INTEREST

The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to BAE for the repair of the above NSN's in support of multiple platforms. Other interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than August 18 2017 to [email protected] and/or Charles Bentley [email protected].  The Government intends to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
