The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD, PMA272, is requesting information from potential sources which would be helpful in defining the level of effort required to develop Modeling and Simulation (M&S) including, but not limited to, software, hardware, and algorithms of Hostile Fire Indication (HFI) for a Manned Flight Simulator. The M&S of the HFI should be adaptable to multiple rotary wings and tilt rotor aircraft platform simulations, as well as simulate HFI for rocket propelled grenades, unguided rockets, small arms and medium-to-large caliber arms. To be of maximum benefit to the program, responses must be received by 20 June 2009.
