Colville National Forest, Replacement of Picnic Tables. The Colville National Forest located in North East Washington State has a requirement for replacing picnic tables in various campground locations throughout the Forest. The project is located in Pend Oreille, Stevens and Ferry counties. The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The project consists of removing existing picnic tables in several campgrounds located throughout the Forest; salvaging designated materials and delivering to locations as specified in the contract; performing minor site leveling and sump/root grinding; and installing new table bases, table tops and benches. Work is estimated to begin in September 2008 with a completion date of 75 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Both payment and performance bonds will be required. Magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about July 8 2008. Proposals are estimated to be due August 18, 2008. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation. This acquisition is set aside for Hubzone Certified Small Business Concerns.
