The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various business concerns that might be interested to compete. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include: 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if capable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized and posted on the FedBizOpps website. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor that site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The magnitude for this acquisition is estimated to be less than $55,000 for the entire contract.

DESCRIPTION: The 366th Contracting Squadron at Mountain Home AFB is seeking potential sources interested in providing all management, transportation, labor, parts, materials, individual tools and equipment necessary to REPLACE STRIKE MARINA DOCK located at Strike Marina. The new dock must be EZ-Dock brand modular floating dock systems or equal and must be fully compatible with the exisiting modular EZ-Dock dock. The configuration of the new dock shall consist of approximately 710 square feet of foot-traffic rated surface area. The new dock must also be removable for seasonal storage. The exisiting fixed dock's components will need to be removed. The components to be removed include but are not limited to concrete piers, steel and wooden supports, composite decking material, and all fasteners. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, services, oversight and direction to complete the installation of the requirements identified in the Statement of Work to repair the Strike Marina dock. The period of performance for this requirement is 60 days. The delivery date is no later than 30 days after receipt of order. Strike Marina is located at Grand View, Idaho, 83624.

OBJECTIVE: Mountain Home AFB requires that technicians are properly trained and licensed to make repairs required in the Statement of Work. The contractor shall identify and obtain all required permits from Mountain Home AFB, federal, state, and local agencies. All solid waste generated by this project shall be transported to landfills. Recyclable materials may be taken to the base recycle center otherwise such materials will need to be disposed off base. The contractor shall submit two (2) copies of the final shop drawings on a writable combat disc. The shop drawings shall indicate the configuration of the new dock and include dimensions.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 -Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $36.5M.
