This is a pre-solicitation notice for the construction acquisition to Replace the HVAC System in Building 785 at Cannon AFB, New Mexico. Type of resultant contract is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The resultant contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who provides the Government with the Lowest Price based on the price related factors in FAR 14.201-8. Solicitation number FA4855-14-B-0008 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-72. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or after 29 May 2014. The closing date and time for submission of bids as well as the date and time for pre-bid conference will be contained in the solicitation package, which will be made available on Electronic Posting System (EPS) government point of entry (GPE) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov at that time. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors MUST register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Contractor MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and completed Online Representations and Certifications or his/her proposal will not be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, and the small business size standard is $14 Million.
