PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, FL announces the anticipated release of solicitation number FA2521-19-B-0002 being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the pre-solicitation notice.

Brief Description of work: This acquisition is for a Single-Award Construction contract providing all materials, labor, and equipment to mill and overlay approximately six (6) miles, 129,500 SY of asphalt pavement roadway at CCAFS, FL to include, but not limited to:  traffic control through work zones, restoration of traffic light loop conductors destroyed/taken out of service by the milling process, installation of new traffic and street signs, repair of grass shoulders with excavation and sod installation, and application of pavement markings in accordance with MUTCD.

IFB will be available on or about 21 Dec 2018

This project will have a site visit which will be posted in the IFB.

The performance period for this project will be 150 calendar days to begin within 10 days after issuance of the

Notice-to-Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after the award.

This acquisition is being issued under FAR Part 19.502-2 Total Small Business Set-Aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid.

The Invitation for Bid will be available by Electronic Transmission only at: http://www.fbo.gov.

Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award.
