This requirement is sole sourced to MPB Corporation, 7 Optical Ave., Keene, NH 03431-4320 due to unique capability. MPB Corporation is the only vendor whose bearings are certified for use in the gyro subassemblies and the only manufacturer that has the required tooling to perform the delicate selective fit operations involved in the repair process. Any firms believing that they can provide this service may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the item without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
