The Mission & Installation Contracting Command – Fort Knox (MICC-Knox) intends to award on a sole source basis a contract to Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, LLC.  Under FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.   Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, LLC is the official convention service contractor authorized to provide exhibit space rental for the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Conference and Fan Fest Experience 2020, located at the Charlotte Convention Center, 501 S. College Street, Charlotte NC 28202 on February 28 – 29, 2020.  The US Army Accession Mission Support Battalion’s National Convention Division is only an attendee for this event as a requirement in support of the US Army Marketing, Education, ROTC Cadet Command, PaYs and Medical Recruiting.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) and a solicitation will not be issued.  Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.  If no affirmative written response is received by 08 January 2020 at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), award will be made without further notice.  Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
