Bahamas Power & Light BPL-RFP-1263/23 Renovations of enclosure at The Mall at Marathon Kiosk Location SCOPE OF SERVICES Site Walkabout – Monday, January 15th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. (BY REQUEST ONLY- NOT MANDATORY) All persons must have the correct PPE as per the following or they will not be allowed access to the site: Hard Hat Safety Shoes Safety Glasses Hi-visibility Vest The following stages describes in general, but does not limit the scope of the Services which the Contractor shall be required to perform: (Rebuild Kiosk interior perimeter partition wall & Installation of a new exterior access/service door at The Mall at Marathon Kiosk Location) 2. Interior Perimeter Partition Wall a) Remove existing wall partition wall panel from wall stud framing b) Install tamper-proof walls, inclusive of framing and finish: Install Stud framing from the structural floor to the structural slab/beam above, per Steel Framing Industry Association limiting heights tables. Install metal grate to stud framing on the services side of the framed wall on the interior face of the stud framing. Install one layer of 5/8" Gypsum Wall Board mounted on stud framing from floor to ceiling on the interior face of the stud framing with a metal grate attached. Install two layers of 5/8" Gypsum Wall Board mounted on stud framing from floor to ceiling on the exterior face of the stud framing. 3. Exterior Access/Service Door a) Cut an opening into the exterior wall east face to accept the new exterior access/service door b) Construct reinforced concrete header above the proposed security door c) Install Exterior Security Stainless Steel Door d) Complete all finished transitions (ceilings/wall/floors) to the satisfaction of The Mall at Marathon Representatives.
