This project is located at 1207 Texas Avenue, on the same block as College Station’s City Hall. This existing one-story building was originally constructed as Fire Station #1 and later renovated to occupy various city departments. This renovation seeks to create a consistent and contemporary office experience in the Middle and Office bays and create an event space in the Commons Bay for our Economic & Tourism Department. The scope of work will include demolition, interior/exterior improvements to the building, civil improvements, and landscape enhancements. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held via Zoom meeting at 2:00 p.m. CDT Wednesday, October 6, 2021. This meeting is MANDATORY, attendance is required. A formal site visit will not be provided after the meeting; however, meeting attendees are encouraged to look around the site and view the property on their own.
