Description

The Contractor shall provide all design, labor, materials, tools, and equipment to renovate building 636 (B636) as necessary to comply with specified design standards. The work shall consist of, but is not limited to, the installation of a natural gas line, boiler, furnace and split air conditioning unit. Additionally, the work will require the modification of existing sanitary sewer lines, renovation of a restroom, floor restoration, and the demolition of a 400 sq ft building (B632).

The performance period for this project will be 220 days from notice to proceed (NTP).

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million dollars. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 14 June 2019 with an approximate response date of 15 July 2019.

The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204.

The solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is issued on a restricted basis to ONLY small business firms. All offers will be evaluated utilizing the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) selection process in accordance with FAR 15.101-2. All complete offers will be considered by the agency.

All firms must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive an award. Registration can be accomplished at https://www.sam.gov.

This solicitation will result in one firm-fixed price contract.

The entire solicitation, including the specifications, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Web Site at https://www.fbo.gov.

The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the FedBizOpps website to: Vendors / Citizens - Find Opportunities, then search the solicitation number FA449719RA022. Paper copies will not be available.
