The work consists of, but is not limited to: Renovations to convert existing carpentry shop area into three separate shops in the same location and provide associated modular offices and new restrooms. Work includes associated infrastructure including electrical, lighting, fire protection, plumbing and HVAC upgrades. Furnishings and equipment are also part of contract. Exterior work includes removal of existing EIFS, painting of existing CMU, window and door replacement and roof work associated with installation of new roof hatches.
Award of a firm fixed price contract is anticipated in July 2012.
Contract duration is approximately 365 calendar days and estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Performance and Payment bonds will be required for 100% of contract award. NAICS for this project is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 million.
