The City of Dacula (OWNER) is requesting bids to be submitted for the “Renovations and Building Upgrades to an Existing Storage Structure” used to store paper records for the City. The Project is located at 442 Harbins Road, Dacula, Georgia 30019 behind the Dacula City Hall. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing of all labor, materials, and services necessary for Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical improvements to the existing facility. There will be a Pre-Bid Conference for this project held on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Dacula City Hall. It is strongly encouraged that all potential Bidders attend this Pre-Bid meeting. [email protected] no later than Tuesday, July 7, 2020 by 5 p.m. Sealed bids for this project will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday July 14, 2020 and read aloud at the Dacula City Hall located at 442 Harbins Road in Dacula, Georgia 30019. Any Bids received after the above time is called will not be accepted. Bidding documents may be obtained electronically from McFarland-Dyer & Associates, Inc. There will be no charge for electronic documents. If hard copies are requested then a fee of $50.00 will be required for disks and $100.00 required for paper hardcopies from MDA. If awarded, the Contract will be on a lump sum, fixed price basis. The bid may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Dacula in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid amount. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum, will be required of the successful bidder.
