The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract on a sole source basis to Hydroid, Inc., 6 Benjamin Nye Circle, Pocasset, Massachusetts 02559.   This IDIQ includes a variety of engineering services for the repair and conversion of the commercial Remote Environmental Monitoring UnitS (REMUS) 100, REMUS 600 and REMUS 6000.  The use of task orders will provide the flexibility necessary for the different types of work required.   Under this IDIQ, Hydroid will provide Organizational and Depot level maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of the commercial REMUS variant Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV) and support equipment.  This includes all depot repairs and incorporation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), including the generation of all Integrated Logistics Support documentation to support the conversions.  Hydroid is the only source for the three commercial systems listed above.   As such, Hydroid has the expertise, technical data, equipment, and experienced personnel to successfully complete the system overhauls and supporting documentation as well as the other tasking specified above.  It is anticipated that this effort will be for five years.  There is no incumbent on this effort.
