The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to issue a sole source fixed price purchase order to Hydroid, Inc., 9 Benjamin Nye Circle, Pocaset, MS 02559. Estimated value of these actions under is $35K. The requirement is for (1) REMUS 100 UNMANNED UNDEWATER VEHICLE (UUV) TAILCONE. Hydroid Hydroid Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the REMUS 100 UUV and in order to ensure tai1cone compatibility with existing REMUS 100 UUV s, Hydroid must manufacture required tailcone. No other UUV vendors have the capability or authorization to reproduce the REMUS 100 tailcone assembly. Delivery shall be 31 AUGUST 2011; FOB: Destination, Stennis Space Center, MS 39522-5001.

This requirement will process utilizing FAR 12 and FAR 13 procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) is 335999 with a business size of 500 employees.
