The Work for this project generally consists of removal of sediment from portions of the Upper Rio Grande in the Hatch/Rincon areas of Doña Ana County, NM.  The sediment will be removed from the river channel and stockpiled on the floodplain or loaded onto USIBWC dump trucks for removal by USIBWC forces.  There will be no hauling or disposing of the removed sediment to offsite locations.

Work will have to be done with the irrigation season in mind. Coordination will have to be made with the USIBWC and Elephant Butte Irrigation District for irrigation season dates.

The magnitude of the project is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

The work is located in North Doña Ana County, NM. A site visit date will be listed in the solicitation. The work will be performed under NAICS Code 237990. The contract will be firm-fixed price.

All work shall be completed within two hundred forty (240) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The time stated for completion shall include demobilization.

The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about July 26, 2019 (this is a target date which may slip or change; if the solicitation is not posted on Federal Business Opportunities by July 26, 2019 that is because the solicitation is not available for posting). The solicitation will be available for a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days.

This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. The Solicitation will include information on how to obtain the plans and specifications. All responsible sources may submit a bid to be considered by the Agency.
