This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101 and 6.305 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000 and to make publicly available the justifications required by 6.303-1. Additionally, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, it is the intent of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to make award to Remington Arms.

The order will provide ICE with various parts for Remington 870 Shotguns. The original equipment manufacturer, Remington Arms, does not provide coverage to other than original manufacturer parts in Remington weapons. The use of parts other than those directly from the original equipment manufacturer will void the original factory warranties and may cause malfunctions with the weapons systems.

As a result, the original equipment manufacturer is the only responsible source to provide Remington Arms parts for the Remington 870 shotguns.
