Olympus Borescope and NDI Equipment Remedial Maintenance Services - Sources Sought Synopsis

This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the capabilities to meet the requirements for providing remedial maintenance on Olympus borescopes and nondestructive inspection (NDI) equipment for the 76^th Maintenance Wing located within the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards.  The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this sources sought survey.

This is not a solicitation, and any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. 

PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sourcess that are able to conduct remedial maintenance on the Olympus borescopes and NDI equipment for the 76^th Maintenance Wing located within the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

As previously stated, this is not a solicitation, and any requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. 

The Government will use the information gathered through publication of this SSS to determine the best acquisition strategy for this requirement.  The Government is interested in all potential sources including Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, Women-Owned Small Businesses, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Attached is document containing a description of the Olympus requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company's capability.

1. You are encouraged to provide any documentation to support your company's capability in meeting these requirements.  Failure to provide this type of documentation may result in the Government being unable to adequately assess your capabilities to deliver these materials. 

1. The NAICS Code selected for this potential requirement is 811310, which has a size standard of $7.5M.  If you disagree that 811310 is the proper NAICS Code, please submit that comment to the requireing activity along with what NAICS Code you believe this should be classified under; however, please do not wait for an amendment to this request, as the due date for the market survey will remain Friday, 9 Feb 2018, 9am CST.
