Sources sought synopsis announcement is issued to assist the 673d Contracting Squadron, JBER, Alaska, in performing market research to determine interest and capability. This is not a request for proposal (RFP) and responses to this request are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP or an award. This document should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government. Any information provided to the Government in response to this document will become 673d Contracting Squadron property and will not be returned. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost associated with responding to this request.

JBER, AK is seeking interested sources capable of providing the following vehicles listed below. The government is looking to be allowed to drive the Non CDL Drivable vehicles as the Government will be moving vehicles possibly every 72hrs.

2 X 26 Ft. Non CDL Drivable Dry Truck(Box Truck)
1 X 40-45 Ft Refrigerated Trailer
1 X 40-45 Ft Dry Trailer

The contract is tentatively planned to begin on or about 20 Mar, 2014 - 10 Apr, 2014. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 532120, with a business size of $35.5M.

Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type and business size under the applicable NAICS code; (2) a list of the company's most recent and relevant (within the last three years) DoD or commercial contracts to include names, points of contact, phone numbers, value and type of contract, and brief description; and (3) information demonstrating the company's ability to perform these services. Respondents are asked to limit submissions to ten pages or less. Any information provided is voluntary. All eligible firms responding to this Sources Sought must ensure their response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm's qualifications to perform this requirement.
