Construction of approximately 1.6 miles regional trail along the former Burlington Northern Railroad corridor from the 9900 Block of Willows Road NE to NE 124th Street. The trail will generally consist of a 12-foot wide paved (hot mixed asphalt pavement) trail with 2-foot gravel shoulder along the west side and 3-foot gravel shoulder along the east side. Grading and installation of storm drainage facilities. Install raised trail crossing and associated improvements at driveway crossings. Intersection improvements at 9900 Block, NE 100th Court, NE 102nd Street, NE 116th Street, and NE 124th Street (curb ramps, curb and gutter, pavement restoration, hardscape/landscape features, and pavement marking). Roadway reconstruction at NE 116th Street. New pedestrian traffic signal at 9900 Block and NE 100th Court. Pedestrian traffic signal modifications at NE 124th Street. Traffic signal modifications at NE 102nd Street and NE 116th Street. New illumination system along the trail from 9900 Block to NE 124th Street. Installation of landscape and urban design improvements. Wetland and stream mitigation. And other work necessary to complete the Project.
