Contract: R09PC20R13Solicitation: R09PS20R13 TAS::14 0681::TAS RECOVERY The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bids for modification of the potable water treatment system at the New Melones Powerplant. The principal components of the work to be performed include: A. Removal of existing small sand filtration system, piping and appurtenancesB. Mechanical: 1. Furnish and install new 10 gallon per minute ultrafiltration skid mounted unit with pre- and post-treatment 2. Connect piping and controls.C. Electrical: 1. Furnish and install power and instrumentation cable. 2. Furnish and install grounding, conduits, and 480-volt circuit breaker. The New Melones Powerplant is on the Stanislaus River, about 60 miles upstream from its confluence with the San Joaquin River and 40 miles east of Stockton. The river forms the boundary between Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties. The NAICS Code is: 237110, with a corresponding size standard of $33.5M. This procurement is not set-aside for Small Business. Solicitation R09PS20R13 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 20, 2009. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. The information provided in this announcement is all information the Government has available at this time. There are no specifications, drawings, bid packages, or source lists available until the solicitation is posted. The date for receipt of proposals will be approximately September 19, 2009. This procurement will require 100% performance and payment bonds. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Annual Representations and Certifications, as required by FAR 4.1102, apply to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please be advised that the awardee with be subject to Section 1512(c) of the Recovery Act, which requires that each contractor report on its Recovery Act funds under the awarded contract.
