Portland District Corps of Engineers issued a modification using recovery act funding under contract number W9127N-09-C-0003 awarded to Just Bucket Excavating for construction of an additional 0.5 acre island at Gold Dike lake and for repairs to existing access roads and construction of a temporary haul road at the Summer Lake Wildlife area in south central Oregon. This contract modification increases the contract value by $959,577.05 and adds the following line items: Mobilization and demobilization at $158,766.69, Gold Dike Island Fill and Slope Protection for 5,900 yards at $28.40 per yard for an increase of$167,560.00, Coarse Sand/Gravel was increased by $37,458.36, temporary Island Haul Road at 2000 yards at $54.16 per yard for an increase of $108,320.00, and additional access road was added for 10,000 yards at $37,61 per yard for an increase of $376,100.00 an additional repairs at Dutchy Island in the amount of $111,372.00.
