The United States Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission (USIBWC) has recently conducted hydraulic and geotechnical studies to assess the ability of the United States levees of the Upper Rio Grande Flood Control Project (URGFCP) Canalization and Rectification to safely contain flood flows in the Rio Grande. From these studies, the USIBWC has determined that certain reaches of the levees require rehabilitation improvements in order to meet FEMA requirements for the safe containment of 100-year flood flows. The Scope of Work shall be applied to the following project limits. The boundary set for the aerial survey extends along the Rio Grande from the Sierra/Doña Ana County Line approximately 195 miles to Little Box Canyon.
Unilateral Task Order No. IBM09T0027 has been issued to S&B Infrastructure for a firm-fixed price cost proposal.
THE RESULTING NEGOTIATED TASK ORDER WILL BE SYNOPSIZED AND ISSUED UNDER THE PREVIOUSLY COMPETED AND EXISTING FIRM FIXED PRICE SINGLE AWARD IDIQ A/E CONTRACT REFERENCED ABOVE.
