JOB Description:
Prepare surfaces and paint new and repaint existing paved road and parking area markings at Lake Mendocino. Areas include Marina Drive, Pomo Day Use areas, North & South Boat Ramps, curbs, entrance road to Bushay Campground (Inlet Road), Lake Mendocino Drive from park headquarters to South Boat Ramp and the Overlook and Joe Riley Day Use Area parking lots. The Coyote Valley Dam/Lake Mendocino is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project located within the San Francisco District of USACE. This project is a 1,822 acre multipurpose lake in which flood control, fishing, water skiing, camping, hiking, etc. all take place. Lake Mendocino is approximately 5 miles north of Ukiah, CA.
The North Boat Ramp, Marina Drive and Pomo Day Use parking areas are located on the north end of the project and can be accessed off Marina Drive either by Highway 20 or Eastside Calpella Rd. The Inlet Road is located east of Marina Drive off of Highway 20. Lake Mendocino Drive, the South Boat Ramp, Joe Riley and Overlook Day Use parking areas are located on the south end of the project and can be accessed off of Lake Mendocino Drive and Highway 101.
