This notice is provided in accordance with FAR 5.705(a)(1) as prescribed for Revocery Act actions.

Contract AG-9702-C-10-0190 has been modified to add additional work within the scope due to refined information made available through the completion of the Site Characterization study completed under a seperate contract. This study revealed increased quantities and locations of certain hazardous substances that must be removed prior to returning the area to a natural state. The work involved will include (1) characterize the materials as necessary for packaging, transportation and disposal, (2) perform necessary collection and/or excavation of contaminated soils and waste, (3) assemble and package the hazardous materials and (4) transport the hazardous materials in accordance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and ordinances. Work also includes the destruction of existing Laguna AFB developed vertical water wells and demolition of associated concrete slabs and plumbing apparatus.

One fixed price modification has been issued in the amount of $999,618.75 for this work to Clauss Construction who was awarded the original contract referenced above.
