RECOVERY - In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Pub. L. 111-5, the Government posts this notice FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY of intent to issue a solicitation to GSA Schedule holders only under Federal Supply Class (FSC) 66, Category 66-611 for the purchase of eleven (11) each G3 Hydrographics Guages for The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, National Ocean Service, Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services, Chesapeake, VA. Quotes will only be accepted from GSA contract holders under this FSC class.

The equipment is due for delivery no later than September 30, 2009. This acquisition will be issued as an RFQ and awarded as firm-fixed price purchase order for this requirement utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov, and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. The FSC for this is 6680 and NAICS Code is 334519, small business size standard is 500 employees. No Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on GSA Advantage. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued.
