The Bureau of Land Management, Colorado State Office, is soliciting for offers for the Recovery-Gunnison Gorge NCA River Restoration Herbaceous Weed Treatment and Tamarisk & Russian Olive Control.
The receipt of the award is contingent on the recipient's meeting the requirements in Section 1512 of the Recovery Act.
Description of Work: The services covered under this solicitation and subsequent contract are for treatment of herbaceous noxious weeds, and trees that are considered noxious weeds on Bureau of Land Management lands. Species include Russian olive, Siberian elm, and tamarisk.
Location: Near Delta, Colorado in the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area and in the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area.
The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 115112, with a standard size of $7.
The release date for the request for quote is February 1, 2010.
Site tour is scheduled for February 9, 2010 at 10 am Mtn Time. Location to meet is at the Gunnison Forks parking lot on the north side of the Gunnison River and approximately 1 mile south of Highway 92.
