Using Recovery Act funding, the Mobile District Corps of Engineers intends to issue a task order against W91278-09-D-0074, Helicopter Applicators, Gettysburg, PA to spray approximately 400 acres of floating aquatics and 300 acres of submersed aquatics, Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway. The basic contract was competitively awarded as a fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract to perform aerial spraying. A modification will be issued against the basic contract incorporating contract clauses required for projects involving Recovery Act funds.
