RECOVERY (ARRA) - The work consists of the Installation of four separate septic systems at the El Cariso Hot Shot Camp and the Replacement of the existing septic tank at the Silverado Fire Station. This project is funded by the American Recovey & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Amendment 3 is included with this posting and Attachments 1 - 3. The purpose of this Amendment 3 is to 1) Revise and Replace the Schedule of Items (Att 1), 2) add Specification Section 01505 - Mobilization (ATT 2); Specification Section 02050 - Demolition (Att 3); Specification Section 03100 - Concrete Formwork (Att 4); and Specification Section 03200 - Concrete Reinforcement (Att 5) of this Amendment, add to the Request for Quote Documentation; and 3) Answers to Vendor's Questions that follow: Q)Can you tell me how the material testing and special inspections will be handled for the Recovery Cleveland National Forest Wastewater Improvements Project? Via the owner or the Contractor? A)All material testing and special inspections and quality control will be the responsibility of the contractor. Q)Are your requiring cleanouts every 50 feet? A)Cleanouts will be required to be installed AS SHOWN ON CONTRACT DRAWINGS and where the Uniform Plumbing Code 2006 with California amendments, requires they be installed for this type of sewer installation.
