Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Congress made supplemental appropriations to the BLM and other agencies for activities on Bureau of Land Management lands for projects that include maintenance, rehabilitation, and restoration of facilities, property, trails, lands and for remediation of abandoned mines and wells with the purpose of job preservation and creation, infrastructure investment, energy efficiency and science, assistance to the unemployed, and State and local fiscal stabilization, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2009 and through the fiscal year ending September 30, 2010. This project is funded using funds made available from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.DESCRIPTION OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL INVENTORY:A Class III archaeological inventory of 87 locations where seventy-five (75) road closures will be implemented; approximately twelve (12) of the road closures will have gates will be installed to improve wildlife habitat. The acreage in aggregate is approximately 99.8 are located inside the boundaries of the Canyons of the Ancients National Monument.Evaluation Criteria:Receipt of an award is contingent upon the evaluation of Past Performance information provided by the offeror, to include the Vendors ability to meet the required performance time lines, and shall be evaluated equal to price; and the Prime contractor and subcontractor (if any) shall be guided by ARRA requirements illustrated in Sections 1512.THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER the BLM Colorado Archaeology IDIQ contract. Those vendors with an established Archaeological/Cultural Resource IDIQ contract and have active registration with WWW.CCR.gov is eligible to submit quotations for this project. The project sites are located in Montezuma County, Dolores, Colorado. The periods of performance are between the dates of 03 May 2010 through 03 September /2010.
