The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Canadian Commercial Corporation, 50 O'Connor Street, Suite 1100, Ottawa, Ontario K1A-0S6 ( with 100% subcontracting to Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc., 3570 Hawkestone Road, Mississauga, Ontario LSC 2V8) for the procurement of one (1) each A/W 42U-1(V)-5 Recovery Assist Securing and Traversing (RAST) system and associated track components, and options for an additional six (6) systems and associated track components . Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies,  Inc. has designed and developed the RAST system and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

The Government intends to procure the above item(s) under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
