The purpose of this notice is to inform that the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on a non-competitive basis with Canadian Commercial Corporation, 50 O'Connor Street, Suite 1100, Ottawa, Ontario K1A-0S6 (with 100% subcontracting to Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc., 3570 Hawkestone Road, Mississauga, Ontario LSC 2V8).  This BOA will allow for the procurement of system repair and upgrading, system upgrade kits, change kits, technical data and studies for the  Recovery Assist, Secure and Traverse (RAST) System, Horizon Reference Set (HRS), Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse (ASIST) System and Lateral Transfer System (LTS) as well as for the procurement of production HRS units.  Curtiss-Wright Indal Technologies, Inc. has designed and developed the RAST, HRS, ASIST and LTS systems and is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1.  This is not a request for competitive proposals.  However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this notice.  Any responses should reference N68335-14-R-0109.  Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
