The Regional Health Contracting Office - Atlantic, Gordon Health Contracting Branch, Fort Gordon, Georgia intends to issue a purchase order pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(i) on a sole source basis to Covidien Sales LLC, 15 Hampshire Street, Mansfield, Massachusetts 02048-1113. Recorder Bravo CF Reflux System.

Covidien Sales LLC, is the only vendor capable of providing a Recorder Bravo CF Reflux System.  Covidien Sales LLC dba Given Imaging, a Medtronic company, is the sole manufacturer and sole source of the Recorder Bravo CF Reflux System. There are no other sources for this product. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time.  This information will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for consideration for future requirements. 

Must have

• Multiple event buttons that allow patients to mark symptom events and record symptom duration during meal and supine times
• An USB cable interface that enables quick and direct data upload as well as flexible recorder battery recharging
• An internal Rechargeable Battery that eliminates the need for battery replacement prior to each study,  reducing procedure cost
• Must allow for up 96 hours of recording
• A carry case, charger, carry strap, and USB cable
• Accommodate wireless pH system is better tolerated by adult and pediatric patients
• Allow testing with fewer limitations on diet and activity while allowing prolonged monitoring (up to 96 hours)
• Accommodate Calibration-free capsule

Must be

• able to store saved settings that eliminate the need 10 update prior to each procedure
• able to provide a simple study and data upload procedures
