The subject solicitation, P15PS00798, Reconstruct Cave Trail along Historic Tour Route, Mammoth Cave, Kentucky, 42259, Project No. MACA 150067, is hereby AMENDED as follows:
ADD AS AN ADDENDUM to the previously published Site Visit Notes from 9 April 2015 the following:
1. There is electric power in the cave, up to 220 volts. The outlets along the cave trail are 110 volt - 20 amp circuits.
2. If a worker is hit by a bat on the skin, they may be required to get rabies shots.
RESPOND TO WRITTEN INQUIRIES received by 23 April 2015 16:30 MST as follows:
1. QUESTION-Would it be acceptable to NPS if a bond was obtained for the first construction period and a separate bond obtained for the second construction period. ANSWER-No, the requirements for performance and payment bonds shall be as set forth in the Solicitation, without further amendment.
INCORPORATE BY REFERENCE as if fully set forth 52.203-98, Prohibition on Contracting with Entities that Require Certain Internal Confidentiality Agreements-Representation (DEVIATION 2015-02) in Section K, and Clause 52.203-99, Prohibition on Contracting with Entities that Require Certain Internal Confidentiality Agreements (DEVIATION 2015-02) in Section H. AMEND SECTION M, FACTOR 4 - SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING COMPLIANCE (page 133) with CORRECTED NATIONAL PARK SERVICE (NPS) SUBCONTRACTING GOALS for the participation of small business as follows: All Small Business Concerns - 44.5%; Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns - 5%; Small Women-Owned Business Concerns - 5%; Hubzone Small Business Concerns - 3%; Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business Concerns - 3%; and REPLACE the current published Subcontracting Plan template with an updated 2015 version.
