The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, El Reno, Oklahoma, intends to award a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 - only one responsible source, to Genemco, Inc., 4455 Carter Creek Pkwy., Bryan, TX 77802 to provide a Reconditioned Homogenizer meeting the following specifications: 3 cylinders, 2 stage HVA homogenizing assembly, stainless steel cladded, minimum capacity 2000 GPH, minimum 50 HP motor at 230/480 volt, 3 phase electrical. This notice is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation of offers as no solicitation document is available. Based on the requirements, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice. However, any vendor who believes they can meet these requirements may give a written or fax notification to the Contracting Officer by 3:30 pm CST on May 7, 2012. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement.
