This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
(ii) Solicitation FA4877-09-Q0119 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).
(iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27.
(iv) This procurement is being issued as a SMALL BUSINESS acquisition under NAICS code 332439 and small business size standard is 500 employees
(v) CLIN 1: One (1) each used reconditioned container, 20' long, 8' wide, 8' 6" high. Structural componets: 7ga outer rails top and bottom and 7ga end frames. Outer wall, 16ga steel seam welded. Roof, 16ga seam weld corrugated panels. Floor joist 7ga C-Channel steel. Floor, 1' 1/8" plank on 12" centers. Doors, tw0 (2) 7' x 7' roll ups. Two (2) 12" wind turbines.
(vi) ) Delivery to be FOB Destination, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ, within 30 days ARO.
(vii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
(viii) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price.
(ix) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer.
(x) All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), that failure to register in CCR by Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 1:00pm (PST) will make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractor must also have NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their CCR Registration.
