The City of Long Beach Fleet Services is seeking services for rebuilding alternators and starters. All units shall be rebuilt in accordance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Units unable to be rebuilt shall be exchanged for new units with prior approval from authorized Department personnel. All rebuilding shall be on City of Long Beach cores, unless otherwise specified. ALL units shall be rebuilt to minimum OEM quality and performance standards. ALL rebuilt or new parts used shall be equal to OEM minimum standards.
