The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Beckman Coulter, 200 South Kraemer Blvd, Brea CA. 92821, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This purchase is for the following:1) #A63882-(1 PG)-Agencourt AMPure XP- 450 mL;2) #A29154-(2 PG)-Agencourt CleanSEQ Kit-50mL; 3) #A48706-(2 PG) Agencourt DNAdvance Kit- Large. These kits are used in genotyping and sequencing experiments. Importantly they are specifically designed for use with the lab's high-throughput robotic platform. Beckman Coulter is the manufacturer and sole distributor of these kits. I order to maintain the continuity of experimental procedures is crucial to the success of the NIEHS Division of Intremural Research and their efforts in continuing to perform the mission of the NIH. The Beckman Coulter Agencourt AMPure XP, CleanSEQ, and DNAdvance Kits will allow the Molecular Genomics Core Laboratory (MGC) to provide the NIEHS quality data using the latest in genomics technology.Interested parties may identify their interest and capability Respond to this requirement by submitting written capabilities/specifications to the Purchasing Agent at the address stated below.
