The Government intends to solicit a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) with a basic period of performance of a base year with at least two option years for Base Operation Support (BOS) services to be performed at, but not limited to, the following provinces in Southern Afghanistan: Farah, Nimroz, Helmand, Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, and Day Kundi. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, and perform all operations necessary to provide BOS services to include, but not limited to, the following: Cleaning services; Loading/Off-loading services; Laundry services; Sandbags/Hesco barrier filling services; and Sanitation and Waste Removal Services.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561210. Basis of award will be a Best Value Determination in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. The resultant award will be a Multiple Award Task Order Contract with at least five (5) contractors. The Government reserves the right to award the resulting contract to other than the low offeror if the offer is judged to provide the overall best value to the Government. All eligible and responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
Anticipated issue date for the solicitation is within 30 days after issuance of this notice and can be accessed at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov and/or at www.militarycontracting.com.
